About this tool

What Screenshot to Data does

Screenshot to Data turns a screenshot of a table, form, code block or document into structured, editable data. It reads the text on your device and uses where each word sits to rebuild rows and columns, label–value pairs or code, then lets you correct every value before you export.

How it works

  1. Add a screenshot

Use the whole image, or draw a region around one table, form or code block.

  2. Pick the structure

Auto Detect chooses table, key/value, code, document or plain text from the layout — or choose it yourself.

  3. Review and edit

Correct cells and values in the editor. Cells Shotexa is unsure about are flagged.

  4. Export

Download CSV, TSV, XLSX, JSON, Markdown or plain text. Several tables can go into one ZIP or a multi-sheet XLSX.

When to use it

  • Tables you can only screenshot

Get figures out of a dashboard, report or PDF viewer into a spreadsheet.

  • Forms and receipts

Turn label–value pairs into JSON or CSV you can paste somewhere else.

  • Code in screenshots

Recover a snippet from a tutorial, slide or chat message.

Questions about Screenshot to Data

How is this different from Screenshot to Text?
Screenshot to Text gives you plain text. Screenshot to Data keeps the layout — rows, columns and fields — so the result opens correctly in a spreadsheet or code.
How accurate are the tables?
Rows and columns are inferred from alignment, so merged cells, rotated text or very dense tables may need corrections. Uncertain cells are flagged for review.
Are numbers converted in JSON?
Only if you turn on “Infer numbers and booleans”. Otherwise every value is kept exactly as text.
